Target practice, going into the centre and linking the circle together with fan shaped lines. Trying to join others and looking for order amidst the chaos that was at times my life. Going around in the circles and not getting to the point. The straight lines want direction and a place to go to escape.

This picture came about because l started to feel more alive and experienced joy again. The brush strokes make me want to get up and dance!

Sunshine! Hot Summer colours in shocking pinks and strong vibrant oranges and yellows. I looked through the kaleidesope as a child and liked what l saw a gorgeous array of multi-coloured escapism.

The beads are reaching out but are disconnected, they want continuity and stability. Like an unfinished, interrupted spider’s web. The links we weave in order to survive.

If only the times of mischief could last and hold onto to the wild cheekiness of youth. I danced to my own tune.

A time that was truly magical watching my elder brother placing dominoes around the house and then watching them fall. Their gentle, graceful steps brought peace to my world and joy from noticing my brother’s delight. SOLD

There she is gliding though the air an old fashioned trapeze artist. She dances in glorious attire almost with angelic wings transfixed l watch her magically moving.
