Moth Orchids. Over the years I have been given orchids and they remain to be a source of delight and wonder.

Bird of Paradise flowers are so beautiful and have such unusual petals. I produced a green/gold luminous background to make the flowers really sing.

Orange Lily. I love the combination of warm colours here using oranges and red to depict the flower with a gold background.

Pink dahlia. I love dahlias they are such vivid and vibrant flowers in all their shapes and forms.

Inspired by nature’s generosity. The flower heads sway and drop their seeds as the wind carries them away. A sign of renewal and fertility, nature is a wonderful thing.

I adore tulips. I wanted to recreate the playfulness of these particular flowers and the way the petals change shape after a few days in a vase of water.

Dahlias are definitely my thing you either love them or loathe them and I love them. From a still life I wanted to capture the sumptuous almost velvet appearance of the flower’s petals here.
